Telekom starts selling Meta Ray-Ban Display in Germany for €899
Deutsche Telekom confirmed German sales of Meta Ray-Ban Display from October 13, 2026. The €899 device package includes the Neural Band and can be bought without a mobile plan, adding a confirmed retail route to the previously announced European rollout.
Confirmed facts
A confirmed German retail route
Telekom’s dated announcement identifies €899 as the purchase price without a mobile contract. It also offers financing with selected mobile plans. Those options have separate payment and service terms; the headline device price should not be treated as the full cost of a bundled mobile agreement.
The announcement directs buyers to Telekom’s German shop for participating stores, sizes and colors. This is a regional sales update, not a new worldwide launch or a US price change.
A display in the glasses, controls at the wrist
The device has a 600 × 600-pixel color display in the right lens. Its included Neural Band uses electromyography to detect wrist muscle signals for gesture input. Telekom lists voice control, captions, translation and navigation among the supported experiences.
A compatible smartphone, the Meta AI app, a Meta account and internet access are required. Buyers therefore need to assess the connected software and service requirements alongside the frame itself.
Check fit and feature access before purchase
Practical buying analysis: a retailer announcement establishes a purchasing route, but it does not show that every store has every size ready for collection. Check the selected configuration, delivery estimate and return conditions at checkout. A fitting opportunity can be particularly useful when choosing both a frame and a wrist controller.
The small right-eye display should be evaluated around short prompts and interactions. Treating it as a substitute for a large monitor would require evidence about the specific work involved. HoloNexa has not tested the product, verified a local store’s inventory or measured its performance.
Why it matters · Analysis
The transition from an announced regional rollout to a named retailer with a contract-free price makes comparison more concrete for German buyers. It also makes fitting, support and purchasing terms part of the decision. Availability at one carrier does not establish broad adoption or independent evidence that the wearable improves daily productivity.
